Over the years, the chorus has been featured at various events such as at Mets and Jets games, and various local venues. The GSNC Chorus’ greatest achievement thus far is providing the vocals for “True Colors,” a Dove commercial that was aired during the 2006 Super Bowl.
In addition, for the Girl Scouts’ 95th National Anniversary in 2007, the GSNC Chorus was given the opportunity to travel to Washington DC to sing on the Washington Mall for over 300.000 people. Under the musical direction of Catherine Azzara, the GSNC chorus is gathering once again to lift their voices and bring smiles to our faces.
Holiday favorites will be performed in the Red Ballroom. No reservations required but seating is limited.

For the first time Old Westbury Gardens is one of the concert venues for the Oyster Bay Music Festival.
The stars of Oyster Bay Music Festival will astound you in this one-of-a-kind evening of music filled with virtuoso instrumentalists, chamber music masterpieces, and favorite vocal arias. World-class performers - almost all in their twenties - include National Symphony Orchestra flutist and Long Island native Matthew Ross; French/Viennese bassist Marc-André, who is redefining the possibilities of the bass and reaching millions of people through his innovative videos; German violinist Tassilo Probst, who is making musical headlines throughout Europe; virtuoso bassoonist Eleni Katz, who recently won the prestigious Concert Artist Guild Auditions; Soprano and activist Teddy Siegel, founder of the infamous bathroom account Got2GoNYC; and celebrated pianist Maxim Lando, who has been lauded by the New York Times for his “brilliance and infectious exuberance.” The concert will also feature the popular OBMF Singers, additional prize-winning instrumentalists, and an appearance from one of the few musical-saw masters remaining in the world, Dale Stuckenbruck. Music selections will include works by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Wieniawski, Bizet, Debussy, Dubois and much more. This is truly a concert not to be missed.
Between June 27 through July 4, the Oyster Bay Music Festival will present 12 completely different concert programs in 9 charming venues along the Gold Coast of Long Island. Each OBMF concert is a variety show featuring a diverse range of musical repertoire from a performing cast of around 25 musicians - including vocalists, pianists, strings and wind players. The talent pool includes world-class musicians with international reputations, and local classical music stars. Every performance exudes both professionalism and joy, telling a story uplifted by a genuine love for music felt by everyone in the room.
The concert will be held in the Music Room (Red Ballroom) of Westbury House. A meet-the-artists reception will follow.
