During this season, Old Westbury Gardens welcomed tens of thousands of visitors through its gates. It is more important than ever that places like Old Westbury Gardens remain accessible to people of all ages. Spending time among plants, flowers, and trees allows individuals to reconnect with nature, fostering a sense of appreciation for the environment and the beauty of the outdoors. Whether seeking tranquility, exercise, education, or social engagement, our gardens provide a space for a wide range of experiences.  

The care and preservation of Westbury House is equally important. Historic sites, such as ours, provide educational opportunities for people to learn about the history, culture, and social context of a particular period. Our preservation efforts extend beyond physical structures and include interpretive programs, guided tours, and educational outreach, enhancing public understanding and appreciation of the past.
