Based on the The Gilded Age Cookbook: Recipes and Stories from America's Golden Era, learn the backstory of Thanksgiving Dinner to Twelfth Night celebrations, plum pudding and sugarplums, from author, researcher and historian Becky Libourel Diamond. You'll also learn why celery was on well-to-do holiday tables—it even had its own special vase! Ms. Diamond will bring treats from the cookbook to sample. Copies of the cookbook will also be available for purchase.
