It’s 1936. After a romantic entanglement gone wrong, the biggest dancing duo of the century abruptly leave their partnership—and movie careers—behind. An aspiring director seeks to bring them back together for one last film…but will they be able to keep it together when the cameras start rolling?
Live music by The Sparrows will accompany the show, featuring all of your favorite jazz standards. Maestro Scott Stickley leads the group, with arrangements by John Yao. It’ll be a night of dance, jazz, foiled plans, mistaken identities, and plenty of shenanigans to go around.
Members of the production are returning to the Gardens after their successful performances last year in The Beautiful and the Damned and Christmas 1945.
