What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with a Made by Merry Workshop Experience and Old Westbury Gardens Holiday Light Show!

We are so excited to be hosting this event at the historic and world-renowned Old Westbury Gardens, located in Old Westbury, NY. The class will be held in their exclusive Orchard Hill House.

Learn the foundations of Charcuterie Art in a Christmas-themed Build-a-Board Workshop hosted by Merry Masson, founder of Made by Merry NY. Indulge in gourmet cheese and charcuterie tasting, followed by an in-depth board-building lesson. Each guest will have their own personal board to design using an exquisite selection of local and artisanal cheese, meat, fruit, nuts, honey, and jam, featuring the flavors of the holiday season. Merry will instruct different ways to cut and style both cheese and charcuterie, design fruit flowers, and provide different delightful cracker building tips and wine pairing suggestions. Light refreshments will be served.

After the two-hour class, while all boards are carefully wrapped and stored, guests are invited to the Shimmering Solstice Light Show, an unforgettable walkthrough experience of holiday lights, sights, and sounds! Be prepared to be enchanted by magical light displays and seasonal soundtracks set along Old Westbury Gardens’ beautiful paths that will lead you through the world-famous Walled Garden, Rose Garden, South Lawn and Allée, just to name a few.

At the end of this magical evening, you will leave with your own fully curated gourmet holiday charcuterie board, as well as the skills and confidence to create one again, and memories to last a lifetime.*

Everyone is free to visit the holiday decorated Westbury House before and after the event.

No experience necessary. All supplies will be provided.
